Football Highlights: The Rules of Football

The rules of football are formally remarked because the "Laws of the Football Game".  The Laws of the sport are represented terribly exactly (approximately 150 pages) on the FIFA website here.

There are 17 laws in total, every one briefly summarized below.

Field of Play: The game is compete on either natural or artificial surfaces, the surface should be green and rectangular in form. 2|the 2} long sides of the parallelogram are known as bit lines and also the two shorter sides are referred to as goal lines. the field is split in 0.5 by the halfway line.

Ball: should be spherical, manufactured from leather (or similar) 68-70 cm in circumference and of a particular pressure. 

Number of Players: 2 teams of no over 11 players (one of that is the goalkeeper).  A game cannot begin if either team has less than 7 players.

Equipment:  Players should wear a jersey, shorts, stockings, shinguard and footwear.

Referee:  The referee ensures the Laws of the game are revered and upheld.

Assistant Referees  There is also at the most a pair of assistant referees.

Duration of the Match: the game is played in a pair of halves consisting of 45 minutes each.  The 0.5 interval should not exceed over 15 minutes.  At the discretion of the referee longer is allowed to make amends for any stoppage compensate for play e.g. as a result of substitutions or care and a focus of injured players.

Start and Restart of Play:  A kick-off starts play at the beginning of the match or when a goal.  A kick-off involves one player kicking the ball, from stationary, forward from the centre spot.  All players should be in their own 0.5 before kick-off.  A coin is tossed pre-game,  the team that loses the toss are awarded the kick-off to start out the game while the team that win the toss are allowed to choose that direction they need to play. when 0.5 time the teams switch direction and the alternative team can kick-off. when a goal is scored, the team which conceded the goal can kick-off to restart play.

Ball in and Out of Play:  The ball is out of play once a goal has been scored or once the referee has stopped the game.  The ball is in play in the least alternative times.

Method of scoring:  The ball crosses the goal line inside the goal mouth.

Offside: it's an offense for a player to be in touch with the ball after they are closer to the opponents' goal than both the ball and the second-last opponent.   The offside  rule exists to confirm there are continually opponents (generally the goal keeper and a defender)  between a player receiving the ball and the goal. while not the offside  rule, play will become boring with continual long balls being kicked to a player stood next to the goalkeeper for a simple goal.

Fouls/Misconduct: These are several and varied, generally it's an offense to use excessive force while enjoying playing either deliberately or un deliberately or to handle the ball (unless you're a goal keeper).  The referee could show the yellow card to caution players for less serious offenses and the red card for a lot of serious offenses leading to the player being sent off. 2 yellow cards are like one red card.

Free Kicks: free kick given by the referee for fouls and misconduct. A place-kicking will either be direct or indirect.  A goal is scored directly from an on the spot place-kicking.  A goal will solely be scored from AN indirect free kick if it touches a minimum of one alternative player 1st.  The free kick should be taken from a stationary position thereupon position varied looking on whether the free kick was given within or outside the goal space and whether it's direct or indirect.  The opposing team should be a minimum of 9.15 m from the ball once the free kick is taken.

Penalty Kicks: are given against a team once they commit an offense which might usually be awarded a right away free kick within their goal space.  The ball is kicked from stationary from the penalty spot.  The opposing team should be outside of the penalty space and at least 9.15 m from the ball.

Throw-in:
accustomed restart play once the entire of the ball has crossed the touch line.

Goal kick: accustomed restart play once a goal has been scored.

Corner Kick: Is given once the entire of the ball crosses the line and was last touched by a member of the team (and no goal was scored).  A free kick is taken from within the corner arc closest to the point where the ball crosses the line.  The team should be at least 9.15 m from the ball once the free kick is taken.
